Since there wasn’t a #getmessyartjournal prompt this week, I decided to do a prompt from my Brave Girl’s Club monthly Soul School content. This month is centered around the idea of Flying Free. And *fyi*, I totally recommend joining Brave Girl’s club if you love art journaling or are new to it and not quite sure what to do each time you journal. I love the content each month, that not only teaches you how to art journal, but helps you to think deep on different topics. I was able to reflect on how I allow perfectionism to keep me from doing the things I love!
Supplies Used: gesso, watercolor paints, archival ink pens, fabric, mod podge, paper, photos printed out on copy paper, and content from this month’s Brave Girl’s club Soul school.

Here’s a little more about the Get Messy Art Journal Challenge:
Get Messy is an art journal challenge where a gang of crafty vixens are sharing art journal pages we have created to practise our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. We share our pages without restraint every week, and once a month we create around a prompt. Go check out these crazy talented ladies who are creating pages who each have a unique perspective and style. We will be sharing our work around social media so follow the hashtag #getmessyartjournal.
