How Texture and Pattern Adds Personality & Depth To Your Brand

This week I took a little time, after being challenged by my good friend April of Blacksburg Belle, to go LIVE on Facebook. It’s not an easy task for me because I’m a super-shy introvert, but I really wanted to help you all when it comes to finding your authentic Brand Personality. So, of course, I took her up on the challenge and I went live.

Since the videos are all about your Brand Personality, I decided that they’d really be worthwhile for you all to see.

I talk about patterns and textures and how these elements can add both depth and personality to your branding.

Is it necessary to add these elements to your photos, marketing graphics, website, and more?

I think so.

In the first video I share how using patterns and textures can bring out certain aspects of your Brand Personality that can make that personality feel more 3-dimensional than if you’re not using them.

The second video I talk about CAKE! Because everyone loves cake, right? Plus I share some different places where textures and patterns can show up.

Here are the two different cakes that I discuss in the video, but that failed to show up because I forgot to hit share my screen. (Whoops! Sorry about that.)

Textures and patterns really do add a lot to your branding, which is why I really think it’s something worthwhile to consider.

And it’s something that my Challengers are thinking about in my free 7 day challenge.

Current challengers have said that while the challenge has been hard (challenges are supposed to be!), that they’ve gained clarity on their brand and with their Brand Personality. One challenger said that she now has a better idea of what she’d like to use for her fonts, while another said that she finally found colors that resonated for her.
