20 Things You May Not Know About Me

I recently stumbled upon a post by Crafty Bookkeeping that included 20 questions and answers of things that you may not know about the blogger Lisa, and it looked like fun so I decided to give it a whirl!

Here are 20 fun things that you may not know about me:

Question 1: How tall are you?
5’2 shortie here.

Question 2: Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what?
My husband tells me that my hidden talent is singing, and others have told me that they were surprised to find out that I paint. I honestly don’t know what my hidden talent is.

Question 3: What’s your biggest blog-related pet peeve?
Blogs that lack photos. I love to read, but get easily distracted, so beautiful photos keep me there and keep me interested.

Question 4: What’s your biggest non-blog related pet peeve?
I usually get a little agitated when I hear repetitive noises, like my dogs squeaking their squeaky toys…over and over again.

Question 5: What’s your favorite song?
For a while it’s been “Brave” by Sara Bareilles, for several reasons; I love the video and how it involves impromptu dance parties, the song itself makes me very happy, and it inspires me to be better and braver.

Question 6: What’s your favorite Etsy shop that isn’t yours?
Wild & Free Jewelry because I want to wear all the pretty floral and feather crowns, but also because I’m so inspired photographically by the items in the shop.

Question 7: What’s your favorite way to spend your free time when you’re alone?
I love to watch CreativeLive, read a good book, play with my puppies, or travel to new and random places with my hubby.

Question 8: What’s your favorite junk food?
Currently I’m really diggin’ fried pickles from Zaxby’s….yeah, and I’m not very proud of it. :-P

Question 9: Do you have a pet or pets? If so, what kind and what are their names?
I have two very sweet puppies that I consider my babies. The youngest is Josie, a mini daschund who’s rambunctious hopping around the house makes me smile every day. The oldest is Meeka, named after the raccoon from Pochahontas. Meeka loves to be right by my side, and helps to make my solopreneurship a little less solo.

Question 10: What is your number one favorite fiction book?
I’d definitely have to say that Hinds’ Feet On High Places is my absolute favorite and speaks a lot to who I am and who I want to be.

Question 11: What’s your favorite beauty product?
Michael Kor’s nail polish.

Question 12: When were you last embarrassed? What happened?
Probably when I accidentally cursed in a Bible study…it’s not what you think, though. I was trying to say a non-curse word, but it came out way wrong. The worst part was that my Dad was sitting directly across from me and it caused him to giggle the rest of the evening.

Question 13: If you could only drink one beverage (besides water) for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Vanilla Chai Tea lattes, for sure!

Question 14: What’s your favorite movie?
My current favorite is Divergent.

Question 15: What were you in high school: prom queen, nerd, cheerleader, jock, valedictorian, band geek, loner, artist, prep?
I was an artist/skater girl, who loved to dye her hair bright red and occasionally purple or green. Yes, I wore those huge skater pants. Yes, I wore my grandpa’s old polyester shirts. And at times I even wore a cowboy hat. I don’t know, I was a little bit weird.

Question 16: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Honestly, there isn’t one place for me at this point. I’m currently wishing to live in Europe, though. Perhaps in France, Italy, or Germany.

Question 17: PC or Mac?
Mac all the way, baby!

Question 18: Last romantic gesture from a crush, date, boy/girlfriend, spouse?
My hubby likes to leave me notes sometimes when he goes off to work, sometimes those notes are in random places like in the backyard.

Question 19: Favorite celebrity?
Candace Cameron Bure because of her integrity and faithfulness.

Question 20: What blogger do you secretly want be best friends with?
April Bowles-Olin of Blacksburg Belle, of course! She’s creative and crafty, and a ton of fun. :)
