How to edit videos for your creative business using Screenflow

Edit videos for business

Videos are a great way to get people back to your website and also get them engaged with your Brand.

By using video, you can break down the anonymity of the Internet that makes it hard and sometimes scary for people to make purchases online. It also allows your followers to see the real you, really quickly. Most people enjoy watching videos on the Internet, and it can cut down the time that it takes to communicate things that usually take much longer when using the written word.

So video is an awesome way to get your followers trust you and your Brand more…

I love to add videos to my website and blog for all of these reasons and more.

But video can also be very intimidating to shoot and edit.

Depending on the software you use, creating videos can be more fun and much easier to get out into the world. I love to use the software that’s the easiest to use, even if it’s missing a few of the bells and whistles of other editing programs.

In today’s post, I’m sharing with you how I edit my videos using the Screenflow software. I love Screenflow because you can create a screencast video, where you can share your screen (whether the screen you want to record is via laptop, phone, or tablet), and the software also allows you to record yourself speaking directly to the camera. (FYI – this software is for Mac computers only. For a PC, a similar program you could use is called Camtasia.)

Screenflow also has a lot of things you can do directly within the software without needing to upgrade to one of the more expensive video editing software programs (like Adobe Premiere, which is also much more difficult to learn).

Watch the video below to see what it looks like to edit your videos in Screenflow and to pick up a few pointers on how you can edit your videos quickly and easily.

You might also love the following video which shows you how you can create quick and easy graphics to add to your videos using the Canva For Work program:

I hope both of these videos were helpful in showing you some of the basics of using Screenflow to edit the videos for your business and how to make editing more fun.
