My Full Sail University Adventure

10583954_10152323586527309_7955096487740685109_nIt’s been a full month since I graduated with my second Bachelor’s in Graphic Design from Full Sail University. Being now in my 30’s *gasp*, I definitely had a different take on school than the first half of my life. I was so much more excited to do my school work, and much more dedicated.

I am actually a little sad that I’m finished, and haven’t yet decided on whether I will continue on to get my Master’s in Graphic Design. For the moment, though, I’m just trying to enjoy the time that I have to fully devote to my business.

I wanted to share some of the photos from my graduation day here, since it was such a great experience (I was an online student, so going to see my school was so much fun!). I also wanted to share some of my favorite work from school.

Here are some photos from the graduation itself. I was able to meet only one of my classmates, as we were online students and most would have had to travel from far away.

My parents and I were able to walk around the University campus and check it out. It was really awesome, as there are students who are pursuing work in the entertainment business, so portions of the buildings looked like movie sets.

And finally, here are some of my favorite assignments that I had to do throughout the 2 1/2 years that I studied at Full Sail:

Congratulations on your graduation! I loved seeing your art assignments from your time in school. =) It is so true that we appreciate education much more when we are older. I sometimes wish I could go back and pay more attention and put more effort into my classes. But at least I never have to stop learning! haha =) Lovely work!

I just bumped into your blog while researching for an assignment for TEM. I’m a current graphic design online student at Full Sail. I loved seeing your work and I’m super excited to start classes in the degree program. I start design and art theory in 2 weeks! I would love some tips/advice if you have some to share.
