Before I get to this month’s journal prompt, I’d like to share a few pages I did just for fun after I found some old photos of my hubby and myself from our 2nd anniversary in China. I did these pages at a craft day that I had with my family, where we were learned more about Scrapbooking techniques.
I know these pages are a little girly, but it’s okay to be girly from time to time, right?
Now, to get to the prompt this month. This prompt itself came from Sabine of Moments to Live For.
The challenge was to:
1. Live your adventurous dreams on paper.
2. Try a method or material you’ve never worked with before.
Here is my response to the prompt:
My dream is to live and travel in Europe, and is something that I’ve dreamed to do for a very long time. What are your dreams? Feel free to share in the comments below!
Supplies Used: gesso, purple Speedball Ink, scrapper to move the ink across the page, gold paint pen, glue, honeycomb stencil, fabric tape and a photocopied image of the Eiffel Tower. (The new technique that was used was using the speedball ink to color the pages rather than watercolor paint. I love how vibrant the color is, as well as how the page feels after applying it.)
